Refund Policy

1. Subscription Billing

Oblivark offers paid subscription plans that are billed through our payment provider, Polar. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges for the selected plan unless and until you cancel.

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance for the active billing period.
  • Your plan, billing status, and renewal details are visible in your Oblivark billing area when available.
  • Taxes, payment processing, and currency conversion may depend on your location and payment method.

2. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through the customer billing portal made available by Oblivark.

  • When you cancel, your subscription generally remains active until the end of the current paid billing period.
  • At the end of that period, your account may revert to the Free plan and paid features may no longer be available.
  • Cancelling prevents future renewals but does not automatically generate a refund for charges already processed.

3. Refund Eligibility

Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.

  • We do not normally provide refunds for partial billing periods, unused time, or accidental non-use of the service.
  • If you forget to cancel before renewal, charges are usually treated as final for that new billing period.
  • Promotional, discounted, or one-time special offers may be subject to separate terms if clearly stated at checkout.

4. Exceptional Refund Requests

Although refunds are not guaranteed, we may review requests on a case-by-case basis where there has been a clear billing error, duplicate charge, or technical issue directly caused by Oblivark.

  • Requests should be sent promptly after the charge appears on your account.
  • We may ask for billing details, account information, and a short explanation so we can investigate.
  • If a refund is approved, it will be issued through the original payment method whenever possible.

5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. This often helps resolve problems more quickly.

  • Fraud-prevention, abuse review, or account verification may be required before restoring access after a disputed charge.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or restrict accounts associated with abusive or fraudulent payment disputes.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this refund policy from time to time to reflect changes in our service, billing operations, or legal requirements.

When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of paid services after an update may be treated as acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
