Summary of Key Points

Oblivark collects account, profile, guild management, support, and payment-related information so we can provide our platform, secure member access, process subscriptions, and improve the service.

We use Discord for authentication and Polar for subscription checkout and billing. We may also rely on service providers such as hosting, analytics, security, email, and customer support tools that process data on our behalf.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You can contact us anytime at privacy@oblivark.gg.

1. What information do we collect?

We collect personal information that you provide directly, that we receive through connected services, and that is generated when you use Oblivark.

  • Account and profile data, such as your Discord ID, username, display name, avatar, email address, and login timestamps.
  • Guild and workspace data, such as guild names, member lists, roles, attendance, events, applications, audit logs, and other content you create or manage in the product.
  • Billing and commercial data, such as subscription plan, customer identifiers, transaction status, billing period dates, and records required to manage your subscription.
  • Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, referral URLs, page interactions, and technical logs used for security and performance.
  • Support and contact data, such as messages, bug reports, and information you send when contacting us.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless you choose to include it in content you submit to the platform.

2. How do we process your information?

We process your information to operate, secure, maintain, and improve Oblivark.

  • To create and maintain your user account.
  • To authenticate sign-ins through Discord and personalize your dashboard.
  • To provide guild management features, including invitations, roles, calendars, applications, attendance, and audit trails.
  • To process purchases, subscription changes, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing support requests.
  • To monitor platform performance, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and protect the security of the service.
  • To communicate with you about support, account activity, policy changes, and important service updates.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. What legal bases do we rely on?

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Performance of a contract when we provide the Oblivark service, maintain your account, and deliver paid features.
  • Legitimate interests when we secure the platform, prevent fraud, improve the product, and communicate about service operations.
  • Legal obligations when we must keep records, respond to valid requests, or comply with applicable law.
  • Consent where required, including for optional cookies or marketing communications if we introduce them.

4. When and with whom do we share your information?

We only share personal information when it is necessary to run the service, comply with law, or protect our rights.

  • Authentication providers, including Discord, so you can sign in and connect your account.
  • Payment and subscription providers, including Polar, to process purchases, manage subscriptions, and handle billing.
  • Hosting, infrastructure, database, monitoring, and security providers that help us operate Oblivark.
  • Professional advisers or authorities when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect users and the platform.
  • A buyer, investor, or successor entity in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset sale.

We do not sell your personal data for money. We also do not share private guild content publicly unless you or your guild settings intentionally make it available.

5. Do we use cookies and tracking technologies?

Yes. We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in, remember session state, protect the platform, and understand how Oblivark is used.

  • Essential cookies used for authentication, security, and core application functionality.
  • Performance and diagnostic technologies used to measure availability, fix bugs, and improve reliability.
  • Preference-related technologies used to remember selected settings where available.

If we introduce non-essential advertising or analytics cookies, we will request consent where required by applicable law.

6. Is your information transferred internationally?

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and other places where our service providers operate.

When we transfer personal data internationally, we take reasonable steps to protect it and rely on appropriate safeguards when required, such as contractual commitments, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

7. How long do we keep your information?

We keep personal information only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

  • Account data is generally kept while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, dispute, and compliance purposes.
  • Guild content and operational records may remain available to authorized guild administrators until deleted or anonymized.
  • Billing and transaction records may be retained for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance purposes.
  • Technical logs are typically retained for shorter periods unless needed for a security investigation.

8. How do we keep your information safe?

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your personal information, including access controls, authentication checks, secure hosting, and monitoring.

No online platform can guarantee absolute security. You should also help protect your information by using trusted devices, securing your Discord account, and contacting us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Do we collect information from minors?

Oblivark is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where local law sets a higher digital age of consent, you should use the service only if you meet that age or have appropriate authorization.

If you believe a minor has provided personal data to us in violation of applicable law, please contact us so we can review and delete the information where appropriate.

10. What are your privacy rights?

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law.

  • The right to know whether we process your personal data.
  • The right to access, correct, or update inaccurate data.
  • The right to request deletion of your data.
  • The right to object to or restrict certain processing.
  • The right to data portability where it applies.
  • The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests, and some information may need to be retained for legal, contractual, or security reasons.

11. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track feature or setting. At this time, there is no uniform industry standard for recognizing or honoring Do-Not-Track signals.

Because of that, Oblivark does not currently respond differently to Do-Not-Track signals. If a consistent standard is adopted in the future, we may update our practices and this policy accordingly.

12. Do we make updates to this notice?

Yes. We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to the product, our practices, legal requirements, or service providers.

When we make material updates, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice when appropriate.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, email privacy@oblivark.gg with enough detail for us to identify your account and process your request securely.

If you are part of a guild managed by another administrator, some deletion requests may need coordination with the guild owner or may be limited where data must be retained for security, fraud-prevention, billing, or legal compliance.
